This collection of photographs from the Hearst Collection of the Los Angeles Examiner in the USC Regional History Collection, documents the incarceration of Japanese Americans in California during World War II. 日布時事フォト・アーカイブスはハワイタイムズ・フォトアーカイブス財団にご協力いただき、公開することができました。日布時事、その後継社ハワイタイムスがかつて保有していた写真や関連ドキュメントなど約25,000枚を同財団が救済したことから今回の長期提携プロジェクトがスタートしました。これらの中には、新聞に掲載された写真、掲載されなかった写真もあります。今後、ジャパニーズ・ディアスポラ・イニシャティブはこれらの画像と詳細な日本語と英語の資料情報をコレクション毎に公開していく計画です。

The Nippu Jiji Photo Archives are made available at the courtesy of the Hawaii Times Photo Archives Foundation. This long-term collaborative project started with the Foundation rescuing and organizing about 25,000 published and unpublished photographs and supporting documents, once housed at Nippu Jiji and later Hawaii Times. The Japanese Diaspora Initiative aims to make the images and rich English and Japanese descriptive metadataavailable open access on the Hoji Shinbun Digital Collection, collection by collection over time.

能楽研究所および法政大学鴻山文庫所蔵の貴重資料を鮮明な画像で公開しています。画像をより見やすい環境で公開するために、各資料ごとに拡大・縮小など、様々な機能をつけて紹介しています。
伝観世小次郎信光筆謡本、金春禅鳳自筆謡本、『明宿集』（金春禅竹自筆）、『六輪一露之記』ほか金春禅竹伝書、『毛端私珍抄』ほか金春禅鳳伝書、古活字版『謡抄』、「永禄十一年十月廿四日付、観世小次郎あて信長朱印状」をはじめとする多くの資料を公開しています。

Nōgaku zue 能樂圖繪, or Pictures of Noh, is a spectacular series of Japanese color woodblock prints by the artist Tsukioka Kōgyo (1869-1927). The University of Pittsburgh owns a rare, complete set of this series, published at Tokyo between the Meiji years 30-35, or 1897-1902. Bound in traditional folding-album format, the series comprises five volumes of 261 prints inspired by the plays of classical Japanese noh theatre. The complete set of prints, held by the ULS Special Collections Department, is digitally reproduced here along with a descriptive catalog and contextual essays.

Nyū-yōku Kokyō Toshokan dejitaru korekushon Nihon

１９世紀半ばから後半にかけて収集された図書館のコレクションには、写真アルバム、写真入り本、古写真が含まれる。これらは、ミリヤム＆アイラ・ワラック部門（アート・プリント・写真）の写真コレクションに寄贈等様々な経由を経て追加された。今日においても、重要な東アジアの古い写真アルバムは図書館のコレクションに追加されていて、将来的にデジタル化される予定である。

Photographic albums, photographically illustrated books, and archival photographs have been in the Library's collections and predecessor collections since the mid- to late-19th century. They therefore came to their present location in the Photography Collection of the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Division of Art, Prints and Photographs through various means, including purchase, gift, and transfer from other divisions. Important early albums of photographs of East Asia are still entering the Library's collections, and their contents will eventually be added to this digital presentation.
