近世期に出版された絵入百科事典を対象としたデータベース。
『訓蒙図彙（きんもうずい）』をはじめとした「訓蒙図彙もの」また事物に対する名称と図が含まれている書物を対象とする。なお、データベース名に「近世期」としているが、明治初期までを視野に入れている。

International Research Center for Japanese Studies (Nichibunken)

A database of illustrated encyclopedias published in early modern Japan. Includes Kinmōzui (1666) and other “Kinmōzui”-type encyclopedias, as well as books with pictorial and diagrammed information. Although described as “early modern,” this database covers the period up to and including the early Meiji period.
