国書古典籍中の絵入り叢伝から主に明治以前の古典キャラクターの人物画像を収録。また、伝記解題は当館所蔵の典籍やマイクロフィルムに収蔵される人物伝・人物叢伝の内容の解題と、どんな人物が収載されているかをデータベース化。
