館蔵資料データベースは、当館が所蔵する資料について、その基礎的なデータを収録し、検索を可能にすることを目的としたデータベースです。
当館には、歴史・考古・民俗など様々な分野にわたる資料が、現在約17万8千点収蔵されています。整理の都合で、まだ入力の済んでいない資料やデータが不十分なものもあり、完全なものではありませんが、このデータベースによって、名称・時代・使用地（出土地）など様々な角度から検索が可能になったことは、資料の公開と利用の上で意義のあることと存じます。
The museum holding materials database collects fundamental data on the materials that the National Museum of Japanese History holds, and its aim is to make these searchable. The museum currently has about 178,000 materials on history, archaeology, folklore, and other related fields. Due to the way the materials are organized, there is incomplete data and some remaining gaps, but we believe that making this public is still valuable, as users will be able to search information from various perspectives such as name, period, and place (where materials were used or excavated).
